WHAT COLLEGES SEEK
Colleges seek curious, thoughtful, multifaceted students who are both interested and involved in the world around them.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE IN COLLEGE
At Northwestern University, I studied Economics, Psychology, and Creative Writing with a concentration in Fiction. While in college, I was particularly fascinated by the psychology behind decision-making and leadership. On campus my primary role was facilitating Leadership Training Seminars for Northwestern’s Peer Advisers and work to make our campus more thoughtful, welcoming and inclusive. I also had the opportunity to teach English in the Czech Republic as well as intern at Google and Harvard Business Publishing.
This past year, I lectured and ran writing workshops at Shue Yan University in Hong Kong as a part of the English Department through a Princeton in Asia Fellowship. My next step will be moving into a Management Consulting role with Accenture. As the future of education evolves so rapidly, I intend to become a leader in improving the accessibility and quality of education both domestically and abroad. In the future, I plan to work in and create opportunities at the intersection of education, business, and technology.
